How local tools handle information
DoubleJL does not require an account to use its core tools. Supported file, image, text, code, and calculator tasks run in the current browser and are not uploaded to a DoubleJL application server. Favorites, recent tools, saved notes, and similar preferences may be stored in your browser's local storage.
The processing notice shown in each workspace identifies whether that tool is local, connected, or hybrid. Do not enter confidential, personal, regulated, or sensitive information unless you have confirmed that the displayed workflow and any connected provider are appropriate for it.
Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense
DoubleJL uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand page visits and interactions, and Google AdSense to deliver, measure, secure, personalize, or limit advertising. Their scripts may load after a visitor interacts with the page or after a delayed fallback. Once loaded, Google may receive page and interaction data, browser and device information, network information such as an IP address, and cookies or similar identifiers under Google's own policies.
Delayed loading is a performance measure and does not prevent data transfer after the scripts load. You can limit cookies and third-party requests through browser privacy settings, content blockers, and the controls Google makes available. Read Google's Privacy Policy for details about Google's processing.
Connected tool data flows
- Translation: the text and target language you submit are sent directly from your browser to the public MyMemory translation service.
- Currency conversion: the selected currency pair may be requested from Google Finance and, when that lookup is unavailable, the source currency is requested from the public open.er-api.com exchange-rate service. The amount is multiplied by the returned rate in your browser and is not included in those rate-request URLs.
- City search: when you search for a city in the Time Zone Converter, the search text and interface language are sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service. Time conversion itself remains in the browser.
- API Request Tester: the URL and optional request body you enter are sent directly from your browser to the endpoint you choose. DoubleJL does not proxy that request; the receiving server may log or store it under its own policy.
- WebSocket Tester: the WebSocket address and any message you choose to send go directly from your browser to that server. The receiving operator controls its logging, storage, and response.
These providers also receive the network information normally required to answer a browser request. Avoid a connected tool if you do not want the described information sent to its provider or destination.
Your choices
You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser, block third-party requests, or avoid connected tools. Closing a page does not delete information that a third-party provider or user-selected endpoint has already received; their own retention and privacy terms apply.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site, its tools, or its service providers change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
